Ehsan Shahmir, MD

Dr. Ehsan Shahmir, MD, is a vice president and group medical director of the Polaris group, which is located on the west coast, and also serves on the Peer Review Committee. He has been a medical director for ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ since 2001 and currently oversees Nightingale Health Care where he supports Nurse Practitioners in providing comprehensive and Holistic medical care in collaboration with ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ IKC.
Prior to working at ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ, Dr. Shamir served in a rural area in Northern California and expanded community medical services while working as nephrologist. Dr. Shahmir also served as a Board member of Network 17. Dr. Shahmir graduated from Tehran University. After moving to the U.S, Dr. Shahmir worked as a researcher at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and later completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center and returned to Harbor-UCLA for his fellowship.
